Dr. Phumudzo Nemutaduni is a distinguished specialist Nuclear Physician a keen interest in PET/CT studies. She has made significant contributions to the field of Nuclear Medicine. In recognition of her exceptional work, she was honored with the South African Emerging Scientist Health Excellence Award in 2023.
As a director of Nuclear Med Group, Precision Nuclear Oncology and Theranostics, and two other nonprofit organizations, Dr. Nemutaduni demonstrates her commitment to advancing medical science and healthcare. She is the founder and owner of Embracive Health Medical Centre in the North West province of South Africa, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to community health.
Dr. Nemutaduni holds an MBA degree and serves on the Technical Advisory Committee at the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA). She is also an ambassador for the Oncidium Foundation, a Europe-based organization focused on promoting nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
In addition to her clinical and administrative roles, Dr. Nemutaduni is actively involved in research, publications, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, training, research supervision, and examinations. She contributes to the education of physicists, radiopharmacists, and Nuclear Medicine registrars through Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University and the Colleges of Medicine South Africa (CMSA).
Dr. Nemutaduni has extensive experience in PET/CT, gained through training in Germany in 2018 and a fellowship program in Zurich, Switzerland in 2023. Her expertise, leadership, and dedication to the field of Nuclear Medicine continue to make a significant impact on both the local and international stages.
